The Gate

I'm trying to be better about updating this blog, this will be the third post this month, look at me go:) About a month ago, my handy husband built a gate for our deck. Mason has become obsessed with stairs lately, therefore we could never go out on our deck and relax, it was all about watching Mason on the stairs. Why we didn't get a gate built when the deck was built is beyond me, oh ya, we had never had any kids before, we had no idea what we were getting into:) Anyway, Rodney started putting the gate up during Mason's nap. So when Mason woke up we went outside to hang out with Daddy, and by that time the gate was pretty much done. Mason saw it, and pointed at it and said "Uh oh, Uh oh, Uh oh." He just knew it had to be a mistake, why would anyone put something up to block those oh so fun stairs. It broke your heart but was pretty funny at the same time. Anyway, Mason has now accepted the gate and Rodney and I can now hang out on our deck and drink coffee while we watch Mason play. Thanks Rodney for making that possible!
