We did it! We moved "back to town." It has been a crazy couple of months, but we are here, and we love it. We loved our old neighborhood, our friends and our house, but the drive was just not going to work anymore. So we started looking around, and low and behold the perfect house popped up on our email one morning. We went that morning to look at it, and put in an offer the same day. Next we started the whole remodelinprocess, and walls starting coming down in the new house the day after we closed. Three weeks later, and on our 5 year wedding anniversary, the Randolphs moved.
Papa Bob and Grandma Carol came to pick up the boys that morning. The boys were so excited to drive off with them, and this made the day so much easier for us. That morning the boys left the old house and then came home to the their new home with their rooms set up.
Overall, we all love the new house. We now have a flat backyard, big enough for all the toys, but small enough where I can see the boys from inside the house. We also have a nice big playroom, and all the bedrooms are away from the living area. And the best part is the location. We are so much closer to everything, and we see so much more of Rodney because he only has a four minute commute to work.
