Rodney went out of town for a couple of days in late April, so Mason and I thought it would be a good time to go visit the family in Houston. Dad went with us, and the three of us headed to Houston. We got to Nana's (my grandmother) after a nice trip. Mason did great in the car. Mason and Nana really bonded last fall when Nana was evacuated because of Hurricane Ike. During those couple of days that she stayed with us, she was able to teach Mason to say "thank you." He became obsessed with the crackers that she had, so she would give him a cracker, and then tell him to say thank you. He was just over a year at the time, I was really surprised she was able to pull it off!
So anyway, we got to see Nana, and my cousins and my aunt and uncles. Mason had a great time playing with all my cousins, especially the big boys:) They played all sorts of fun boy games, like knocking anything they could find off the table and then yelling "it fell down!" Mason was having the time of his life!
