First Haircut

Sorry I have been a slacker lately with posting, it has been pretty busy around here. But we did find time to go and get Mason's his first haircut. There was no question where we were going to go, Pigtails and Crewcuts. Our neighbors own this children's hair salon down the street, and I also do the books there. We had been noticing that Mason was starting to get a little bit of a mullet, so we decided it was time. It all started out great, Mason loved the airplane he got to sit in, and he even loved the smock with the cars on it. But as soon as he heard that first snip, it was over. He was not having it. So we had to do some rearranging..........so Mason sat on my lap, and two lollipops and two "quack quacks" later, he was able to tolerate it, and we were able to get an adorable haircut. Our neighbor Lori was great at distracting Mason, and kept bringing him all sorts of toys to keep him occuppied. Hopefully the haircuts will get easier and easier the more we do them........I am keeping my fingers crossed!
